The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has launched a new scheme to help small and medium sized organisations (SMEs) improve their cyber security. The Cyber Advisor scheme is delivered in partnership with IASME, and provides SMEs with reliable and cost-effective cyber security advice and practical support.
Morse Networks Ltd. are delighted to announce that we are one of the first companies in the UK to qualify as an Assured Service Provider for the Cyber Advisor scheme with Technical Director James Reed having recently passed the independent assessment, catchily titled Certificate of Competence in Cyber Essentials Implementation.
The focus of the Cyber Advisor scheme is on the implementation of the technical controls set out in Cyber Essentials. This approach will improve the cyber security of SMEs and reduce the likelihood of the most commonly experienced cyber attacks.
Cyber Advisors are qualified and experienced professionals who can help SMEs to identify and address their cyber security risks. They can provide advice on a range of topics, including:
- Risk assessment
- Security controls
- Incident response
- Data protection
- Business continuity
Cyber Advisors can also provide practical support, such as:
- Conducting security audits
- Implementing security controls
- Training staff on cyber security
The Cyber Advisor scheme is a valuable resource for SMEs that are looking to improve their cyber security. If you are an SME, we encourage you to contact us here at Morse Networks [email protected] to find out more about how we can help you.
